Perhentian Island {Day 3 of 3: 26 April 2015}

Good morning Perhentian. All bags are already packed and here we are in front of our chalet door, feeling so hard to leave this wonderful island :'/ The whole body started to feel aching and all bags seems so heavy *ok, i just exaggerated*

Can we stay another night?
Back to Kuala Besut

Kak Su and her husband, Syuk together with Aini will be catching 9:00am bus at Kuala Besut and hence we have to leave by 8:00am from Perhentian.

Everyone wearing the skin tone of island people already XD

The remaining four of us continue our journey to Kota Bharu, the capital city of Kelantan. We went to eat nasi ulam and chill ourselves from the heat of the city with honey coconut juice.

Small traditional kites called waw made using batik sarong fabric at Kraftangan village nearby nasi ulam restaurant

For shopping, of course Siti Khadijah Market!

Buying some local batik sarong for BOOKS by asmabahari at the second floor of Siti Khadijah Market

Ground floor of Siti Khadijah market where you can buy fresh groceries

The whether is extremely hot so we leave to aiport a bit earlier. Me and husband's flight has been rescheduled to depart early while Ifadt and Alia will follow later at night.

I slept along the way, tired but happyyyyy :)

The end.

First Anniversary

Today, a year ago ❤️

Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah

Perhentian Island {Day 2 of 3: 25 April 2015}

Yarghhh! Woke up early for breakfast and today's activity with this view at our stay; D'Ayumni House. Hello lovely day!

D'Ayumni House

Snorkeling at Rawa Island & Susu Dara Island

Our first activity is snorkeling of course!! What else you want to do when you are in island? Of course exploring the ocean right :D This time we will be exploring the underwater world across Perhentian Island and also two of nearby island which are Rawa and Susu Dara Island.

The water is so transparent that you can enjoy viewing all the beautiful (and mysterious; for me) creation in the sea clearly ^^,

We found various kind of fish, corals and the most interesting is we are lucky enough to greet the sea turtles !! One is on the surface of the sea and two are at the bottom. Too bad no picture ;(

Perhentian Island Windmill

At the noon, we plan to take a boat to the windmill. Ahhhh this is my weakness. My legs really can't accept climbing challenge ! ;-S

But hey, the view is definitely worth it :)

Perhentian Island's Fishermen Village

Next destination, again by boat we had our tea time and walk around fishermen's village.

Look at my besties, they are so happy!

I believe that Fishermen's Village is the main area for the community where you can find main buildings like school, masjid and police station. The sea under the jetty is again clean and clear we even found swordfish happily wandering around the jetty !! Again, too bad no picture of the fish ;(

Beautiful architecture of Masjid Ar Rahman

Can I have home like this?

Sunset at Long Beach

When stomach already full, we went back to our place and have a relax time at the beach watching sunset. I really enjoy the moment after a loooong adventure and I guess this is the best activity before we can close this short gateway...

I can see the expression of happy, tired.. and sad that this going to end soon...

Borrowing hubby's sunglass to see the sunset. Macam mak Datin sangat.

Soo relaxing...

The moon starts to conquer the sky

Night View

Tonight is our anniversary's eve. So we decided to walk along the beach and spent time together; just the two of us.

This so enchanting! <3 I love the sky. Stars are everywhere and the darker the sky, the more beautiful it is.
There, you can see the night life at Fishermen's Village that we visited earlier.

Happy anniversary, Abang <3 Can you believe that it's already a year? How time flies :')

Surprise Anniversary Celebration

After a while, our friends came and asked to join them. They said, we can view stars more clearly than here. And surprise surprise !!!

Syuk came with cake and sing for us. The candles are arranged in heart shape with postcard at the center on the sand. All the girls giggles watching us speechless and can't stop smiling :)

This is the best gift for both of us and we feel so grateful to have a wonderful friends around. The celebration are simple yet very exclusive that we know we can never get this anywhere or from anyone else.

Along the night, we chat, laugh, eat, and spent time together till everyone felt sleepy. We went back to our homestay by midnight with a heavy heart knowing that the vacation is almost over...

To be continue..

Perhentian Island {Day 1 of 3: 24 April 2015}

It starts from a small talk about dreams and gateways among my besties. Then slowly it turns into plans, surveys and at last, here we are at Perhentian Island !

A day before vacation, 23 April 2015

Me and husband arrive a day earlier taking evening flight departed from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah aiport, Subang; which is just less than 10km away from our home. Landed at Sultan Ismail Petra, Kota Bharu, we took taxi that cost us MYR78 to Kuala Besut Jetty. We spent a night at Samudera Hotel, which is very close to the jetty waiting for friends to arrive by tomorrow at dawn.

Since the jetty is only a walking distance from our hotel, we decided to have a look and walk around once we arrived.

Kuala Besut Jetty. These boats will be busy tomorrow morning bringing passengers to Perhentian Island.

Me and hubby at Kuala Besut Jetty

At night, we had this delicious and huge crispy squids as our dinner at restaurant nearby. Yummy!!

Highly recommended. This huge crispy squid cost at MYR15 per plate, enough for 3-4 person.

Day 1, 24 April 2015

Friends arrived just after Subuh and hence the vacation officially started! Wohho!!
So, off from hitting keyboard; let the following pictures tell the remaining stories ;)

To Perhentian Island

All Set. Let's go and enjoy the bumpy ride !

Wonderful friends; Syuk, Kak Su, Ifadt, Alia and Aini

Arrival at Perhentian Island

With my besties.

Our first vacation came true, yeayyyyy

Fefeeling honeymoon <3

My handsome man ;)

Besties in action again :P

Snorkeling practice around Perhentian Islands

I just can't wait to jump in! XD

Clear blue ocean, everything is transparent from up here.

Last checkpoint, Lata Air Berani to wash ourselves with fresh freezy water from the hill behind.

Love his expression. What so funny, Abang? XD

Secret Belgian Binding Workshop at LittleSyam Creative Nest - March 2015

The crowd is unexpected! I have practice a lot, but at the day of the event in front of all 17 participants, all gone! XD

Well here's some pictures that Kak Syam manage to capture :)

I had so much fun and I hope the participants enjoy as much as I do too ^^, And what's important is, they bring back the knowledge and enjoy learning new bookbinding technique :)

Looking forward to the next adventure!
