One job that lead to another, I can say. After I just finished the workshop at CIMB, I got the same offer to conduct the same module of quilling workshop from Balai Seni Visual Negara (BSVN), Alhamdulillah and thank you to my quilling buddy, kak Miyyah who recommended me to BSVN :)
This event was held last Sunday in conjunction to Malaysia Aidil Fitri Open House event at Dataran Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. We are expected to provide the materials and conduct a free workshop foooooor 300 crowds !! When I heard about it from the organizer, I started to panic (while still calm in our tele-meeting ;P) but at the same time, I don't want to decline this offer. So, I decided to make this as collaboration work with kak Shasha who are recently also involve in quilling art.

Guess who is our first participants? It's RELA Team! Since we are early and the duty call still not started yet, they decided to try this art and made their own version of Hari Raya card.
BSVN also open two more booths consist of artist in drawing and painting. They offer caricature for public in a very affordable price.

In the afternoon, more and more participants coming in. We are glad to see not only kids joining us, but also adults. Whether they are a teenage, a mom, a dad or even a grandma, all sat under one roof and get a chance to try this art :)
As more people coming in, seats are getting full. So, we have to get the kids to sit on the floor ;)

Everyone is so busy playing with quilling papers! ;) |
All 300 kits gone by 9:00pm. We had so much fun; it is tiring but full with excitement :) From this event, I learn a lot of thing and I feel proud to be able to take another step forward in my dream journey. So again, I would like to say thank you to BSVN, and the whole team; Kak Shasha and my husband for being very helpful to make sure this event run smoothly. Alhamdulillah :)
